Jennifer Campbell lives beside the seaside in North West England. She is currently undertaking an MA in Creative Writing: Innovation and Experiment at the University of Salford.
Jennifer has varied creative interests, which include conceptual writing, experimental poetry, visual text and narrative textiles. Her adventures in writing so far include having her short story My Girl Maya published in The New Writer, performing feminist poetry at a Reclaim the Night rally in Liverpool, winning a place on a BBC scriptwriting workshop through Ideastap and having visual text pieces exhibited as part of the Create Salford Festival 2014.
Jennifer has a background in mental health nursing and works as an advocate, supporting and representing vulnerable people. She hopes to combine this expertise with her interest in writing to set up therapeutic writing workshops for people with mental health problems or other health needs.
